“IT'S A PIECE OF ME!”

Singer Anastacia has never just wanted to lend s.Oliver her face, but to design her collection actively. A talk about her new great love: fashion.

Anastacia, one pretty year ago you started to design clothing for s.Oliver. Now your third collection will already come out. That's looks less as hobby and more as work. What did you learn about the fashion business the past months?
I had to learn primarily that the fashion business is so much different than the music business. I think that I contribute a lot to the collection and I'm thankful that s.Oliver has involved me during the whole process of creating. My clothing line is for this reason a piece of me. And I'm not only the face of it.

Which pieces of the new collection you are at most proud of?
I'm not able to choose one single piece of it. For example there is a very beautiful patterned dress and a shirt in red tones, that I like much. And there will be amazing jeans with many different cases. I hope that many people will like the stuff...

What was the biggest fashion sin of your life?
I had committed so many fashion sins, that I'm not sure where to start. It's enough if you look to a few of my old photos from my breaktrough as an artist. (laughing)

What are your future aims as a designer?
We already have the next spring line in head and also think about a cooperation with Swarovski. The most beautiful would be, if I still would design clothes in 20 years.
